Hello all!
If you haven't figured it out already, my name is Maggie Moriarty. I am from Walpole, MA, where I currently live and commute to school from. Throughout my college career, I have studied in Madrid, Spain, for a semester and lived in Block Island, RI for a summer. Both experiences have developed my deep interest for learning about other cultures, while founding my belief that in order to grow, one must step outside their comfort zone.
I am currently a senior at Suffolk University in Boston. This May, I will be earning my degree in Communications, with a concentration in Public Relations. I look forward to working and applying all that I have learned in the world of Communications. This semester I will be completing my minor in Graphic Design at the New England School of Art & Design (now apart of Suffolk's campus), and I hope to combine my design and PR skills in the future.
I have a passion for branding and visual identity, and working with clients to develop their brand from the beginning, or creating a new identity with something as simple as an updated mark. I have done some freelance rebranding work of my own, which consists of meeting with the client to discuss where their brand is presently, and developing a new identity based on that. Working full time in the restaurant industry for the last 5 years has not only taught me about working hard, but about the significance of visuals in any kind of setting - presentation really is everything.
